Check the property

As opposed to many competitors, you will be able to view the property before you make a decision

Pay a Holding fee

Ready to register your interest? Pay a £200 holding fee. (to make sure you are serious) 

Sign the Contract

Upon signing the contract, you will need to pay 5 weeks deposit + 1 month rent and get the keys.

Changed your mind?

You just need to pay 1 week cancellation fee or find a replacement for the room you selected.

The SMALL Print

As a Licensee I do not have exclusive possession of the room.

 

DEPOSIT/ADMIN CHARGE OPTIONS:

A. 5 weeks deposit + 2 weeks of prepaid bills and check out charges

B. One month administration charge and two references,  The Licensee has elected to pay an administration fee in lieu of the required Deposit

 

FEES AND CHARGES 

A charge of £8 per day will be applied should the License Fee be paid late. If the License Fee is 7 days late the License will be terminated and a termination fee of £275 will be due.

 

BILLS

Bills and property taxes are NOT included; they will be shared between the Licensees      occupying the property during the Licence Period and will be invoiced to them after every quarter or at the Licensee check out as decided by the Property Manager.Fixed monthly rates for water are £40, internet £24, telephone £16 which is divided by the number of Licensees occupying the property.Electricity and Gas are variable rates, the more you save the less you pay!

A £100 rebate will be paid by the Licensor to Licensee, if Licensee occupies the Licence Property for more than 8 months.

 

MAINTENANCE IN THE HOUSE

The Licensee has to follow the weekly cleaning rota otherwise a cleaner will be hired at the Licensee’s expense. Fixed Fee of £30.. On moving out a cleaning fee of £25 will be applied, this will include cleaning of the common areas and the room becoming vacant.

In case of loss of fob/magnetic keys, charge will be £55. In case of loss of the metal key, charge will be £10.

The Licensee agrees to replace the batteries and maintain fire alarms fully operational. If they get tempered with or covered a £50 fee will apply.

TERMINATION

The Licensee has to give 6 weeks’ notice when wanting to terminate the License and leave the property. This notice shall be given in writing to noticemoving@citimail.co.uk

No verbal agreement, notice or request is valid unless specified by writing on this agreement or written and confirmed by noticemoving@citimail.co.uk

Under no circumstances can the deposit be used as the last month’s Licence Fee.
